Definition of additional components:
Apprentice levy (AL) – if you signed up to an EBA that stipulates this component, the apprentice levy that is otherwise included in the standard weekly default redundancy rate will now become a separate component. The weekly redundancy contribution that you make will be fully allocated to your workers’ accounts. Its purpose has not changed in that this contribution is to fund apprentice program.
Bill Payer Insurance (BPI) – insurance benefit for worker members who suffer disability for a period of time, to assist with domestic bills which the worker receives and pays during their disablement.
Industry Support Levy (ISL) – Incolink will collect and distribute monies to support the growth of the industry
